Il mestiere del restauratore, prima di considererla una professione, la ritengo soprattutto un'arte. Per saper restaurare è necessario avere caratteristiche che pochi hanno:Pazienza, Manualità e Spirito d' Ossevazione per individuare i particolari più nascosti.

Restoring pieces of furniture may be well considereted most of all art rather than an occupation.In order to be able to restore it is necessary to have some distinctive features which few people do really own: patience,manual skill and power of observation,as well, in order to be able to identify the most hidden detail.

Il Tarlo "nasce" a Cadorago in provincia di Como nel 1995, ma non rimane legato solo ed esclusivamente alla sua città bensì si espande e lavora su tutto il nord Italia ed Europa (Austria, Svizzera, Germania, Francia, Inghilterra) restaurando mobili e ville antiche.La sua abilità sta nel saper "leggere" il mobile, capendone i danni, l'eventuale collocazione ideale, i restauri o le manomissioni precedenti molto spesso grossolane.

"Il Tarlo" was set up in Cadorago,near Como in 1995 but it soon began to extend and operate throughout northern Italy and Europe (Austria, Switzerland, Germany, France, England) restauring antique pieces of furniture and country-houses.All its skill lies in being able to "read" each piece of furniture and understanding eventual dangers, ideal arrangiament, possible restorations or previous illegal actions.

Il Tarlo si prefigge solo l'uso esclusivo di sostanze naturali ( gommalacca, cera d' api acquistata da apicultori e non cere di carnauba o surrogati ) per rispettare l'originale bellezza del legno. Gli interventi saranno in ogni caso reversibili per dar modo al cliente di essere pienamente soddisfatto. Su commissione eseguiamo mobili in legno massiccio e/o intarsiati. In bottega abbiamo disponibilità di parecchio legname italiano ( noce, quercia, ciliegio, castano ed altro ancora ) tagliato da noi ed essiccato naturalmente. Non utilizziamo compensati etc.
