Alla base di tutto sta il rispetto del mobile, dovrete infatti fare attenzione a non appoggiarci sopra oggetti eccessivamenti caldi come, per esempio, pentole bollenti per non segnare la lucidatura o peggio ustionare la fibra del legno,scollare l'impellicciature e creare le famigerate " bolle", ma se l'avete già fatto niente paura: con dei semplici passaggi faremo in modo che il Vostro mobile torni come nuovo.
You have to take a great care indeed of the protection of your piece of furniture: please absolutely do not lay on it hot items such as boiling pots, they could mark it. In case you have already made this mistake, do not worry too much about: we can easily restore your piece of furniture

Se possibile evitate continui spostamenti del Vostro arredo (antico !!) da un locale all'altro della vostra casa: i mobili " soffrono " tanto queste situazione e potrebbero danneggiarsi.
If possible, please do not shove your furnishing around: your pieces of furniture could be seriously damaged.

Non sistemate i Vostri arredi in prossimità dei termosifoni: la perdita di umidità potrebbe dar luogo a crepe e fessurazioni lungo le fiancate e piani o ad altri danni gravi che comprometterebbero anche in maniera irreparabile la bellezza del Vostro mobile.
Do not place your furnishing near heat sources as the humidity could cause cracks or some other serious damages which could endanger the beauty of your piece of furniture.

Se Vi accorgete, ad esempio in un comodino la presenza del tarlo, isolatelo dagli altri mobili fino a quando non gli sarà fatto un adeguato trattamento da un restauratore ( ma non aspettate i mesi !!! ).
If you realize that a woodworm is ruining for example a night table, please place it apart from the other pieces of furniture until it is suitably treated by a restorer.

Molto spesso i trattamenti antitarlo in commercio non uccidono il nostro nemico o, se lo fanno non distruggono le sue uova che in determinate situazioni climatiche torneranno a schiudersi. Il trattamento antitarlo non è questione di qualche ora !! Un mio trattamento antitarlo dura le settimane e poi comunque và tenuto sotto osservazione per un certo periodo. Non sperimentate antitarli fai da te, chiedete prima informazioni!
It must be therefore mentioned that all the anti-woodworm treatments on sale generally do not kill our enemy; in other words they can kill the woodworm but cannot destroy at the same its eggs which come out again under special climatic conditions.

RicordateVi sempre di sollevare e non trascinare il Vostro mobile: oltre a rigare il pavimento si danneggerebbero i piedi. Infatti, benchè non sembri, questi sono la parte più fragile. Oppure se proprio non riuscite mettete uno straccio grosso di lana sotto i piedi e spingete sempre con cautela.
Please remember to always lift your pieces of furniture and not drag them: their foot could be damaged and you will furthermore score the floor. The foot are actually the most brittle part of the furniture.

Mai perdere o ancor peggio buttare parti parzialmente o del tutto scollate come impellicciature, lastroni, profili etc.( Molto più sbrigativo buttare nel secchio che ricordarsi dove sia stato messo il pezzo vero?) Tenere sempre chiavi, maniglie, toppe senza sostituirle con altre.

Never lost or throw unglue parts of profiles, walnut or mahogany cover. Hold always keys, handles, keyholes without replaced them with others.
